Agree with Seventh:  A zoom lens would have given you some more detail on the bird but would have cut out most of the steps across the water plus the other goose.  IMO those elements make this a dramatic picture.  Love it!

Yeah, but that picture is just a super-small part of the originl picture, since i had to cut of huge parts on the sides, so that the birds wouldn't be too small. I wouldn't lose pixels with a zoomlense. And its not only this picture that makes me wish i had one xD
